Growing for a Healthier Tomorrow
Hemp Industry Focused
Oregon Fusion is on the leading-edge of the hemp industry as we produce the highest quality CBD oils possible.
Our goals and beliefs are simple: to grow the most stable, high CBD hemp flower and align ourselves with equal minded processors and extractors in order to help supply the high demand for CBD oil, while setting the highest of industry standards.
Located in the fertile Willamette Valley, Oregon Fusion will be cultivating 8 acres with 16,000 plants and over 20 varieties of CBD rich hemp plants. We integrate conscious farming practices using integrated pest management, water conservation with drip tape irrigation, and pesticide free growing methods. Our plants all start from seed in our greenhouse, which provides total control during the entire grow cycle from seed to sale.

CBD Oil and its Benefits
Cannabidiol—CBD—is a cannabis compound found in the hemp plant that has significant medical benefits. CBD-rich hemp oil is an appealing option for patients looking for relief from inflammation, pain, anxiety, psychosis, seizures, spasms, and other conditions without disconcerting feelings of lethargy or dysphoria.
Scientific research has shown CBD may be therapeutic for many conditions.
Cannabis has been at the center of one of the most exciting—and underreported—developments in modern science. Research on marijuana’s effects led directly to the discovery of an unknown biochemical communication system in the human body, the Endocannabinoid System, which plays a crucial role in regulating our physiology, mood, and everyday experience. The discovery of receptors in the brain that respond pharmacologically to cannabis—and the subsequent identification of endogenous cannabinoid compounds in our own bodies that bind to these receptors—has significantly advanced our understanding of human biology, health, and disease.
Extensive preclinical research – some sponsored by the U.S. government with assistance of many universities—indicates that CBD has potent anti-tumoral, antioxidant, anti-spasmodic, anti-psychotic, anti-convulsive, and neuroprotective properties. CBD directly activates serotonin receptors, causing an anti-depressant effect, as well.
Science has shown that cannabinoids and other components of cannabis can modulate many physiological systems in the human brain and body. Cannabinoids are chemical compounds that trigger cannabinoid (and other) receptors. To date, more than 110 cannabinoids have been identified in the cannabis plant with many more likely be discovered. Of these molecules, tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol (CBD) have been studied most extensively.
At least 30 states passed legislation related to industrial hemp. Although the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) still considers hemp (and cannabis) as schedule 1 narcotics, (wrongfully alongside heroin and opiates), they have recognized it’s health benefits and are slow to learn the obvious distinction between hemp and Marijuana is the psychoactive properties, or lack thereof with hemp , and have agreed to research hemp, (and Marijuana) further. At the same time, on August 29, 2013, Deputy Attorney General of the Department of Justice (DOJ) issued a memorandum, (Cole memorandum), instructing all State attorney Generals to essentially respect the state by state legislature regarding legal production of hemp, and not use federal funds to prosecute hemp growers who comply with state law and follow some basic bullet-point guidelines set by the DOJ.
The good news is that there is such a heightened awareness that even the federal government can no longer turn a blind eye to the great health benefits CBD has to offer, as well as understanding the obvious disconnect between law regarding drugs and drug use and what hemp exactly is and is not.
Also worth noting is that in October, 2003, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services was granted a patent, (US6630507 B1) targeting the use of Cannabinoids as antioxidants and neuroprotectants in pharmaceutical compounds and compositions.
